Greg works on radio jingles and television advertising jingle campaigns. He records band albums and demos, still teaches drum lessons and is an available musician also advising on the art of Digital Multitrack Recording and Engineering.
Greg has performed twice at the Greely Stampede backing up Chris Ledoux and Trick Pony. He has written original music and sports stadium music for the NHL Colorado Avalanche and Chicago Blackhawks. Greg has composed original music for and been interviewed on KKFN, "The Fan" sports radio in Denver.
Growing up, Greg pursued formal vocal and musical training, then moved to Los Angeles which led to him becoming a band musician and playing his drum kit on tours with The Grassroots, The Drifters and The Coasters, to name a few. After settling down in Denver in the early 1990's, Greg joined up for over a year with Lannie Garrett and her "Patsy DeCline Show". He has also had the pleasure of playing with national recording artist Maree McRae, and members of Firefall and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
With well over 30 years in the business, Cass Music is backed with a lifetime of industry experience. Greg grew up with a musical background inspired by his father, Jordan Cass, a drummer, and his uncle Frank "Porky" Panico, a writer and trumpet player. Greg says "Learning the Advertisement Jingle business in downtown Chicago studios with Dick Marx and Associates and hearing guys like Al Hirt and Wayne Newton sure was educational."
